Services for Christmas 2025 through Holy Theophany 2026

Wednesday, Dec. 24th — Vigil of Christmas — with Royal Hours for Christmas:

5:30 am: Matins, followed by the 1st Royal Hour.

11:30 am: 6th & 9th Royal Hours, combined.

4:00 pm: Vesperal Liturgy of St. Basil the Great,

followed by Holy Meal.

8:00 pm, (approximately): Great Compline.

Thursday, Dec. 25th — Christmas Day, the Nativity of Our Lord:

9 am: Matins.

10 am (approximately): Divine Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom.

Friday, Dec. 26th— Synaxis of Our Lady the Theotokos — a Solemn Feast:

6:45 am: Matins.

8:00 am (approximately): Divine Liturgy.

Wednesday-Thursday, Dec. 31 - Jan. 1st— Feasts of the Circumcision and of St. Basil:

4:30 pm: Great Vespers.

11:30 pm: Compline, and:

12:00 midnight: Divine Liturgy of St. Basil; followed by hors

d’œvres.

10:00 am: Matins (w/o Liturgy), followed by festal breakfast.

Monday, Jan. 5th: — Vigil of Theophany—with Royal Hours for Theophany:

5:30 am: Matins, followed by the 1st Royal Hour.

11:30 am: 6th & 9th Royal Hours, combined.

4:00 pm: Vesperal Liturgy of St. Basil the Great,

followed by Holy Meal.

8:00 pm, (approximately): Small Compline.

Tuesday, Jan. 6th — Holy Theophany:

6:45 am: Matins, with the Great Blessings of the Waters.

8:15 am (approximately): Divine Liturgy of St. Basil the Great.
