Monastic Modesty

The monastery is a place of prayer with the holy temple at its heart. When at the monastery, please dress at all times as if you were ready to go to church.

Dress code: Please cover shoulders to mid-thigh.

Men should wear long pants and sleeved shirts.

For women, head-coverings in the church are welcome, though optional.

Pants and skirts should reach below the knees. Tops should cover the shoulders.

Please no:

  • Skin tight

  • Shorts

  • Mini Skirts

  • Middrifts

  • Sleeveless

  • low-cut necks

  • Tank-tops
